I continue to hunt the suppliers in hopes of the next big score. I did get a call from Independent Sports Supply today and two Hi-Point C9 9mm pistols are coming my way. I have had these, along with the .380, .40, and .45, and the carbines as well, on back order for a while. It is nice to see something finally starting to show up. My sales rep assured me I am on the short list for Bersa and Sccy as well and we hope to see something soon. Along with this shipment I am getting PRO GOLD cleaner/lubricant in several different configurations.
I had an opportunity this week to take one of the North American Arms 5-Shot revolvers to the rage this week. I chose to try out the NAA-22MC-HG, .22 Magnum with the .22 LR cylinder, 1 5/8" barrel (the LONG version!), with the folding hand grip, it was quite impressive to shoot. The .22 Mags were a nice surprise yet easy to control and I think these little pistols are great for a close in, belly-shot type of weapon. When I swapped to the .22 LR cylinder, there was hardly any kick. The folding hand grip with the clip (clip can be mounted on either side) makes them a very viable CCW option. I do plan on adding a couple of these to my personal collection.
