Autumn is here!

A cool morning here in NE Alabama, a brisk 33 degrees this morning at KMM. The leaves are starting to turn and the crisp fall breezes are blowing. Before arriving here, I had NO IDEA that Alabama got so cold, hey it is the deep South. When a cold front moves through, they ain't kidding!

Despite the change in the weather, things continue to roll along. Supplies of firearms and ammunition continue to grow. I stopped by a local WalMart with my sister last night and was pleasantly surprised at the varied selection available, darn that 3-box limit. Still, we left with 500 rounds of 9mm between us. My suppliers are getting more firearms in every day, and at least once a week I get a call about a back order that has arrived. Yesterday's call was for some Hi-Point carbines in .40 S&W, they are due in next week. This may be a good time to check the naughty and nice list and start hunting for that special Christmas present.

New in this week is a Charter Arms "Pink Lady," , a 5-shot aluminum revolver with a 2" barrel and black rubber grips. At only 12 oz. this is a very nice concealed carry firearm. I have been looking for one of these for a while, and I happened upon it last weekend while surfing Chattanooga Shooting Supply's web page. I looked again last night and they are currently out of stock, I am glad I got this one.

A reminder, the Hi-Point sale runs through the end of October.

A YEAR IN BUSINESS! Celebrate with a Hi-Point Sale!!

A year is business, time to celebrate!
Margins are tight with many of the firearms, but I wish to thank my loyal customers.  For the month of October I am having a Hi-Point Sale! Buy any Hi-Point Firearm and I will take $10 off each additional Hi-Point firearm purchased at the same time. I enjoy shooting these well made, Made in the USA (in Ohio), firearms that I would like to introduce them to my friends. They are big and not "pretty," but will put a hole where you point them, and that is really what we buy a firearm for. The weight helps control the recoil and makes it fun to shoot. They also make a really good "truck gun," ready when you need it, not a major investment in case the worst happens.

When I got my first Hi-Point JHP (.45 ACP) I was excited to take it to the range and try it out. I got a lane next to a gentleman with a nice Kimber Custom, and he looked over and said "Huh, Hi-Point" in a disapproving sort of manner. We put our targets out, let loose with lead, and when we pulled them back in, I had no 10 ring left on my target, and he was all over the place. I looked over at him and asked, "Shotgun?" He could not believe that a Hi-Point could shoot so accurately. So much for his $1500 pistol, but boy, was it pretty!

Come on up, and you can try my personal Hi-Point firearms (I have all 4 pistols) before you buy. Bringing your own ammo is not necessary, but I would appreciate it. The only other requirement is DAYLIGHT (pretty much means only on weekends), I will not allow any test firing when the light level is not sufficient for safety.
