I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. We made it a nice 4 day and relaxed as well as worked on some household chores. I spent part of the 4th going through the store and reduced prices on many of the firearms. Over the next few days I will be looking at the ammo prices as well. It has been a while since I have posted here, things have been busy and now the holidays are upon us. It seems like 2016 has whizzed by. I would like to wish all my friends near and far a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time of celebration with family and friends, and take a moment to give thanks for all of our blessings.

Once all the Turkey and pie have been put away, the traditional biggest shopping day of the year is upon us. Keel Mountain Munitions will be having some special offers available only on Nov 25th. All ammunition and accessories will be on sale, and I have some .22 LR ammunition priced at cost to show how much I appreciate my customers. I will consider all reasonable offers on in stock firearms, and every firearm sold comes with a free box of ammunition. Feb 1st brought to us all an increase in US Postal Rates. Minimum shipping for small items like magazines and grips will be going up from $6.50 to $8.00. I will be evaluating the shipping on firearms, it too may have to increase. Unfortunately my margins are very slim, and I cannot afford to absorb the increase. I will do my best to keep the prices down and make some necessary adjustments.

We got snow last night. Not much compared to some places, but when you are on top of a mountain, even a small amount can make travel dangerous. There is nothing I need bad enough to head down the road, so instead I am staying warm and CUTTING PRICES!

To all my friends, customers, and followers, I want to thank you for an outstanding 2015. Business was brisk, had a few hectic days, and a couple dry spells, but overall a better year than 2014. I enjoy helping folks find the firearm they are looking for, getting that special treasure, and facilitating that Internet sale transfer. Several have found that a 10 minute transaction can turn into an hour plus discussion about guns, life, and the world around us.

I pledge to continue the personal service that I know you appreciate, no pressure sales, and assistance in finding the right firearm even if you don't buy it from me. It is much more important that you get the RIGHT firearm, not who you buy it from or settling for something else because that was in stock at the time. The firearm must be right for YOU, not convenient for me because I happen to have it on hand.
