Again, IT ALL MUST GO! Come by and see what we have, maybe we can make a deal.
Things are still moving along, although very slowly. I am still planning on closing down the storefront and concentrating on special orders and inbound transfers, but there is still a large amount of merchandise that needs to be liquidated. EVERYTHING in stock is priced at 5% over cost or less, it all needs to move out the door. If I see some ammo at a really good price I will still grab it, like the recent acquisition of .30 Carbine ammo. It was a good deal and I am selling it at almost half the price of another local store.

I have not been writing here like I thought I would be so I figured an update was needed. As we come to the close of 2022 I have decided to close down the store. It has been over 10 years and I have made many new friends with the same interests that I have. Unfortunately the big on-line retailers make it very hard for the small dealers to operate, sort of when a WalMart moves into town and can always out price all the local businesses.
I have had folks transfer in firearms the are being sold retail for as much as $50 BELOW my wholesale price. Availability of firearms through distributors for the most part is what is left over after the big guys ravish the available supply at their reduced costs. I understand that the distributors want to move as much merchandise as they can and the big boys have big dollars. Why look at the guy who wants to spend a thousand or two when someone else is knocking on the door with 50, 100, or more thousand to spend, many times buying out the hot new items that are reserved for them. It is not a level playing field and I am getting tired of it. Starting tomorrow, 20 Dec 22 until the end of the year, all items in stock will be sold at 5% over cost. This is an in store, cash only sale, no cards will be accepted because the high fees they charge firearms dealers will turn a small margin into a loss. If someone is looking from out of town, we may be able to do some sort of discount, but it will not be at the 5% margin of the sale. My goal is to sell EVERYTHING I have, firearms, magazines, ammunition, and accessories. I will be maintaining my Federal Firearms License until it expires in late 2024. During this time I will sill do transfers, both in and out, and filling special orders as we can. Come October of 2024, my license will expire and all records will be processed in accordance with federal law. As much as I have loved doing this and it fulfilled a dream of mine, it is time to end this chapter and move on to other things as well as return to things from the past. For those who may be interested I have .223 and 5.56 ammo available. Remember, I don't ship ammo so it has to be a local purchase.
It has been a while since I have written anything, 2020 was truly a year we will never forget no matter how much we may want to. There are many changes coming to our country, good or bad this is our new world. I am not sure what is going to happen to our civil rights but it will be different and probably at times difficult. I hope cooler heads will prevail and there truly can be unity in the country. I also hope that the firearm supply will loosen up a bit and I will be able to get items from my distributors.
Happy New Year everyone! It is hard to believe that 2019 is coming to an end already! It seems like just a few weeks ago we had to concentrate to put 2019 on forms. It has been a fair year for business, slower than I would like but I still managed to increase the inventory on hand to new levels. We did have a busy transfer business and there were many good deals from the big boys this year that make competing very difficult. I try to be in the ballpark with pricing, and I ask that you check with me before you make that online purchase and see if I can meet or beat it. No BS, if I can't I will let you know, and If I find you a smoking deal somewhere else I will tell you.
HAPPY 2020 TO EVERYONE!! Bob Greetings to all in the final quarter of 2019, it is amazing how fast this year has gone. Business has been very slow this year, in part because I think people feel secure with their rights, and the on-line retailers making it very difficult for the little guys to make any sales. I would ask that before you spring that new purchase from Bud's or Midway, give me a call first and let's see if buying local is a better option. Trying to maintain an inventory can be very difficult when there is little to no cash flow.
For the month of October: will have daytime as well as evening hours, with appointments available seven days a week. I am home recovering from back surgery so I will be available. If you see something on the web site that interests you, get in touch and see what we can work out. It has been a while since I made an entry, sometimes I get very busy with everything going on and I neglect to post. Business is steady and I continue to look for bargains and items I think my customers may be looking for. We still have a few AR pistols available, as well as some high demand items like the KelTec PMR-30 and CMR-30.
I am excited to introduce CobraTech Out The Front (OTF) knives to our lineup. I ordered a variety of sizes and blade configurations to assess the demand. They carry many different finishes and configurations, and I hope to become a direct dealer for their products. I have set up a page for these products (under the "Accessories" tab) that has some videos and a link to their web site. Be sure to keep us in mind for that special order or internet transfer. I will do my best to give you a competitive out the door price, and will assist with the purchase process even if you do not buy from me. It is hard to believe that 2018 is already half over. The year is going by fast but the firearms industry is moving slowly. It has been a slow 6 months in terms of sales, probably the slowest I have experienced since I opened. Even so, I keep looking for new and exciting products for my customers.I recently received a IWB holster from Concealment Express for review. Initial impression is it looks well built, I will be trying it out with my M&P Shield in the next week or so to see how it feels. My standard IWB right now is from Alien Gear Holsters but I always try to keep my eyes open. Another addition, following a customer request, was to establish a dealer account with Alexander Arms. They offer some unique firearms that can be customized at the factory, I will be poking around their site looking at the goodies. Currently their offerings will be special order ONLY so you can get exactly what you want.
Are you dreaming of something specific or see some products that you may think would be a good fit here at KMM drop me a line and let me know. Everyone have a happy and SAFE 4th of July!! Well, the Democrats are at it again, the 2018 Assault Weapons Ban has been introduced in Congress. Unable to understand the idea that assault is an action, generally performed by an individual intent on inflicting harm, they once again go after the inanimate object instead of addressing the real problem. They are not only going after rifles, but pistols and shotguns too. If your pistol magazine holds more that 10 rounds or if it has a threaded barrel they are considered "assault weapons" and will be banned. Contact your Representatives and urge them NOT to support this legislation.
